With the current climate of 2021, where one can see the last vestiges of freedoms in the United States being severely tested, this, like many other things has driven people to develop new communities.

Deep Center Field Press was created in March 2010 by Jason Powers. Sometimes, it amazes that what was merely a means to write about baseball and the love of it, grew (much much later) into a news and book publishing outlet at: www.dcfpress.com. Then, while the U.S. was coming out of economic turmoil, and the flaws of Middle Eastern wars, hope was somehow not in short supply, if delusional in its existence.

Today, as 2020 made clearer and clearer, we can’t just be about sport or hope. We have to become more than the complacency of resting on the laurels of sacrifices that we never made. So with that, maybe this grows over time as a rest stop to think, laugh, learn, and reflect as we do battle ahead to save the Republic.
